CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT DEPT: THE THINKER-THE WYRLD’S GREATEST SELF-MADE MAN! PART II!
21 March 2015
Greetings, most honored reader, and welcome againl
Now we at long last see that the Thinker is not just another pretty wizard face: he has other interests, other powers, and other ambitions, interests, powers, and ambitions most unlike those of the majority of the planet’s magic wielders.
I’ve already outlined many of the details concerning the Thinker in my transmission, “THE THINKER-A SELF-MADE MAN” ( HERE ) of his humble origins, his curiosity and ambition, hi! rise to power, and his fantastic journey to the Home of the Gods, where they generously rearranged his face in reward for his audacity.
I also discussed his mystical powers, but what I did not touch upon was that one power that separated the Thinker from the majority of the Wyrld’s other inhabitants: his awesome telepathic and psionic ability! It is precisely this ability that allowed him to intercept Darya’s telepathic SOS message to Nikki. It is also precisely this ability that allowed him to communicate with, domesticate, and even some-what civilize the alien Stone-Men when he first came to the Vale of Stone many years earlier (more of the Stone-Men HERE )
However, his psionic abilities allowed him to do far more than just that. He could also walk through stone, commune with stone, transform himself or other persons to stone, and even shape objects from rock as easily as a child on your world might fashion an object from clay or Play-Doh.
Besides this, for some time now, you’ve enjoyed (I hope!) the Thinker’s Notes from the Underground, his own transmissions to your planet (which I edit to my tastes before your receipt). Now you have some idea as to how he was able to accomplish this as you no doubt recognize this “other, strange Wyrld” the Thinker has discovered in his mystical view orbs. I think you also understand now what is going to form the basis of his New Magic-nothing less than your planet’s technology!
It’ll be interesting to see what he ends up doing with it. For the answer to that, most honored reader, as well as what the Thinker does with Darya’s intercepted telepathic message, please tune in next week. Until that time, may your week be a blessed one!
