“TO SLEEP, PERCHANCE TO DREAM”
or
REVISIONIST DREAMING?
Greetings most honored reader!
While Bryan was getting mashed into Dwarf pie and Nikki escorted off to see the Crimson Cape Gang’s “secondary hideout,” Seth was up in the Terrific Tower catching a few ZZZ’s. And while he was at it, even had a dream—a most peculiar dream!
Specifically, Seth was dreaming of the Trio’s one-time friend/nemesis/frenemy, the Countess, in their struggle for the mighty Vanguard-Z Armor, a struggle which she ultimately lost, ostensibly paying with her very life in the lava river running before the outer gates to the Thinker’s kingdom. As long-time readers may recall, the Countess was able to enter the armor when Seth inadvertently pushed the armor into the lava, as seen HERE.
For those of you new to our transmissions, please compare the two scenes—that which really transpired—with that which Seth saw in his dream, as seen in today’s transmission. There are a few key differences, aren’t there?
As for Seth, so lifelike was his dream that he seems to be having problems remembering exactly just what happened and seems. . . bewildered. He seems to be comparing his own memories of what he remembered to happen with this dream’s version of events. Is it possible that if he were to continue having this dream, the dream version of events could replace—at least in his own mind—the memories of what really happened?
May we even go so far as to posit that if it were possible to influence dreams, could one then also influence memories? But who could even accomplish such a feat?
Who indeed?
Join me next time, honored reader, for some possible answers. Until then,
With Cognescentii blessings,
